Ivo Hugh is a special train with a special name. He pulls Zoo Cars. If Thomas the Tank pulled the Zoo Cars it would sure be a wild ride. But Ivo Hugh always travels with care taking the animals where they need to go. An older steam engine named after the chief engineer of his old railway, this engine is used to being around animals. He almost missed his own naming ceremony when some pigs escaped. This little red train pulls some lively cargo, with a hippo in one car, and a zoo of animals in the boxcar. Ivo Hugh isn’t afraid of the hippo that opens and closes his mouth while rolling along, and he knows the animals behind the sliding door of the boxcar wouldn’t hurt a fly. Don’t confuse this bright trio, in red, blue, and yellow, for a circus train.
In 2002, Ivo Hugh and Zoo Cars brought color and excitement to Thomas Wooden Railway. These three classic wooden toy trains, in primary colors, make a brilliant addition to any child’s train set. Toy trains connected by magnets measure 10 inches.
Thomas Wooden Railway toy trains are compatible with BRIO train sets.
