All the trains know that pulling cars is hard, but it’s worth the work to become a Really Useful Engine. But one diesel engine doesn’t think it is worth the work. Dennis thinks of excuses to get out of work and takes every opportunity to avoid it. When Dennis is lazy it leaves more work for the other trains. Thomas and his friends wish Dennis would pull his own weight.Lazy and grey, Dennis is a diesel engine unlike the others. His drab demeanor sets him apart, but not in a good way. Dennis can be identified by the number 11001, but don’t expect to spot him on the railways.
In 2006 Dennis joined the Thomas Wooden Railway after first being featured on the show Thomas and Friends during season 9. Dennis toy has magnetic connectors at either end. Put the wooden toy of this idle engine to work on your train set.
