The train yard on the Island of Sodor is filled with engines of every shape, size and color. Fergus is a traction engine who can ride the rails with the trains, but he doesn’t shunt trucks like the others at Cement Works. Fergus loves rules. He has the Rule Book memorized and often gets bent out of shape when the other trains get out of line. Often heard saying his catch phrase “Do it Right!” Fergus is a bossy engine who can be helpful too.Fergus, a traction engine, doesn’t quite look like the other toy trains, with his spinning flywheel and moving piston. Painted a bluish-purple and riding on red wheels, Fergus resembles Trevor the Traction Engine, but Trevor cannot ride the rails.
Featured in season 7 of Thomas and Friends on “New Friends for Thomas”, Fergus joined Thomas Wooden Railway in 2004 and has been chugging along with the other toys ever since. This 3.5 inch wooden toy train of Fergus can bring order and fun to any wooden train set.
