A coal hopper car, Hector’s name stands for Heavy Engineered Coal Truck on Rails. He yelled “keep away!” at engines Thomas and Rosie when they tried to load him with coal in “Hector the Horrid”. He wasn’t trying to be mean; he was only scared of the heavy load. Once Thomas showed him there was nothing to be afraid of he gladly let the trains fill him with coal.
Hector’s coal-black painted car matches his cargo. The letters of his name line his side in white, as he fuels the island with his coal deliveries. He’s a strong hopper and good friends with Thomas and the other engines.
In season 11, Hector joined Thomas and Friends. In 2008 he joined the rails of Thomas Wooden Railway. Let this hearty, hopper help the wooden toy trains of your child’s train set. Hector attaches easily to engines and trains with magnetic connectors.
Thomas Wooden Railway toy trains are compatible with BRIO train sets.
