When Sir Handel moved to the Narrow Gauge Railway his named changed from Falcon, but his attitude remained the same. Taught by Duke in the original Railway Series, Sir Handel thinks he knows all there is to know about being a really useful engine. As one of the oldest engines on the line, Sir Handel likes to boss around the other engines, but he knows that being right and being boss isn’t as important as being a good train.Sir Handel’s royal blue paint with red stripes matches his proper title and air of superiority over the other trains. His name plate is always shining on his side along with the number 3. Sir Handel may be a bit pompous, but Thomas and the other trains can certainly handle it; they know they’re really useful engines.
Sir Handel rode the rails of Thomas Wooden Railway from 1997 to 2002. In 2008 he is back and he’s not too old to ride along with the young toys. Available only for a limited time, this wooden toy train of Sir Handel is a must have for any Thomas and Friends fan. Measuring 3.5 inches in length with magnetic connectors, the toy train of Sir Handel is ready to ride on any set of tracks.
