The average size is 20% smaller than the wooden railway pieces, so it can fit in a pocket or be part of an easy to bring play set. The smaller size is perfect for preschool-size hands! Take Along die cast Thomas the Tank Engine also uses "smart magnets", they connect in any direction. Each Take Along Thomas pack comes with a bonus collector's card as well. The Take Along Thomas Die Cast pieces are not compatible with the Thomas wooden railway.
